Tonight at the Press Club, a poetry reading from Portland poets Molly Weller and Alison Apotheker, hosted by the Mountain Writers Series.
621 SE Clinton, 7:30 pm, $5 suggested donation.

At the IPRC, zinester Dexter Flowers reads her contribution to an upcoming anthology of queer Portland writers. Afterward, it's open mic time.

Poetry for the People presents poets* Mari L'Esperance, David Ash, and Evelyn Sharenov, at the mall. Esperance is a two-time Pushcart nominee, Sharenov is a Literary Arts grant winner and contributor to Citadel of the Spirit, the anthology celebrating Portland's 150th birthday, and Ash is—I'm not sure I can make it to the end of this sentence...—the publisher of such books as Haiku for Dog Lovers and Haiku for Office Workers. There. Phew. Did it.
