Good Morning, News!

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Mon, Mar 30, 2009 at 8:59 AM

Obama to the big three automakers: "It's my way or the highway!" GET IT?? By the way, GM chairman Rick Wagoner is being shown "the highway."

Wall Street reacts to the floundering auto industry by taking another turd bath.

This weekend in rampage shootings: Eight killed in rest home, six die in California townhouse shooting, 19 dead in Pakistan police school, and a man beheads his five-year-old sister in front of a cop. (Not an actual shooting, probably because he didn't have a gun.)

And in government sponsored shooting rampages: Another US soldier has been found guilty of executing four bound and blind-folded Iraqi detainees.

Another casualty of the declining news industry: newspaper delivery kids!

Courtney Love is being sued for abusive Twittering! (God, isn't that just an amazing headline?)

This may be the wrong question to ask Blogtownies… but are you excessively chipper? Then do not miss this special Onion News Network report on a new drug to curb perkiness called "Despondex."

I'm all for news aggregation, that's the reason I'm subscribed to the RSS feed of this blog is 'casue your filter works remarkably well; but c'mon, if you've got a video to show us that's meant to make the chuckles, find something that doesn't have a couple million views already combined from The Onion and Youtube. I DESERVE TO BE ENTERTAINED. Like this nine-day-old video that's already climbed to half a million views: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oEYH7m1cmo

dougwastaken, to paraphrase your comment: "Don't post videos like that one that every one already knows about. Post videos like this one that every one already knows about."

I feel sorry for Mr. Wagoner. He only gets $23,000,000 in retirement, not counting some other stuff. I hope he can exist on this. I know I could.

Since he'd agreed to work for $1, that means the retirement was a 23000000% raise. I can see why he might have taken it...
