An Intimate Evening with... David Yow???

The last time I saw Jesus Lizard play David Yow stepped on my head. With a cowboy boot. Twice.

Let's hope the former Jesus Lizard frontman is better behaved (or at least wearing some nice soft Ugg boots) when he is the guest of Pacific Northwest College of Art on April 8th:

Talk: An Intimate Evening with David Yow
Art school survivor, cook, thespian, legendary front man of Scratch Acid, The Jesus Lizard, and Qui. Armed with a rather wicked photoshop stamp tool, David is coming to PNCA to talk to you about life.

Why does "rather wicked photoshop stamp tool" seem like the least weird part of this event? David Yow is going to give us life advice? He cooks? This better top that awkward motivational speech given by Andrew WK a few years back at the Ace Hotel. (That was not a joke, it really happened.)

Anyway, this evening with Yow is free and open to the public, so I guess I'll see you there. Just watch your head.

End Hits: It's not a popular opinion, but "Skull of a German" is my favorite Jesus Lizard song.

The last time I saw the Jesus Lizard play David Yow kissed me on the mouth. Later in the show he hit a kid on the head really hard with his microphone, then kissed him, too.
