BREEDLOVE: WAS FREAKED OUT BY PEREZ HILTON...
I've been listening to this morning's Beau Breedlove interview on KUFO's website. "He looks a lot younger than I thought he would," said Rick Emerson's co-host, introducing the interview.
"You look a lot younger than we expected," said Emerson.
"Do I look haggard?" Breedlove asked.
"You look Ted Haggard," said Emerson. "I'm sorry. That was a silly joke."
"There was obviously a point at which it got way too crazy," Breedlove said. "There was one day when I got like 30 voicemails at the end of one day."
"The Willamette Week, personally I just hate their guts," Breedlove said. "I hate their guts," he repeated. "I. Hate. Their. Guts."
Also, BREAKING: Office manager Brad Buckner SAW BREEDLOVE getting into his car at 12:45 on NE Davis and 20th. "He was wearing a pink polo shirt, and he looked at me," says Buckner. You heard it here, first.
"So you've done the layout, and you're in Unzipped," Emerson said. "What about special films?"
"No offers for that, but I've had offers for other things," said Breedlove.

Breedlove would barely talk about Sam Adams at all. Although he said he probably would have avoided a relationship with Adams if he'd known about all the publicity and attention it might have attracted.
Have you always been attracted to older guys?
"Mm-hm." Breedlove said. "Everybody has a type, some people like Latinos, some people like Asian...I like..."
"Old?" asked Emerson's co-host.
"I kind of like my median to be, like, 38," said Breedlove. "I like surrounding myself with people I can look up to."
"The thing that really pisses me off is you could have some [straight] hooker in North Dakota sleeps with a senator and the next week she's on the cover of Maxim, which is essentially the equivalent of this magazine," said Breedlove. "And she doesn't get crap. But all of a sudden a gay guy does it, and he's demeaning the whole gay culture and bringing down everything that they've ever worked for."
"That interview with the Oregonian I really wasn't ready for," says Breedlove, of the interview in which he spoke about kissing Adams at 17.
"The very first interview with the Oregonian was something that I didn't want to do. They kind of came to me and said, hey, we're putting this story out there, so unless you talk to us, this is what we're going to write about you."
"You don't seem like a person with regrets," said Emerson's co-host.
"No," said Breedlove.
"Do you feel that that, in particular, that act, the kiss at 17, do you regret that?"
"Would it be fair for people on the outside looking in at this, do you feel it's fair for people looking in at that to describe that as a sexual act?" Emerson asked.
"Erm, I, I, don't know. I mean, I..yeah. I mean..." said Breedlove.
"I really don't want to get too into that, obviously because of the stage that that's at, under investigation," Breedlove continued.

I really can't wait for this. Between this and the Iowa decision, it's all gay all the time now. I'm going to get signed copies for all of my friends. XMas presents they will become.

Sophisticated trolling is one thing, matt and smirk are entirely another.
Look at Patrick: we gave highly aggressive constructive criticism, and he became a much better writer, and he made light of the situation. We did the same to for Matt, and he became a blithering cunt (with mental health issues, have mercy!) (policy!) that backed down on the things that made his writing fun without making any improvements on his glaring deficiencies. Smirk? I don't know what the fuck is going on, but if it's counter-trolling, she's displaying far, far more smarts than she did when she debut'd as a clever intern.

If it's any consolation, I like you. But then again, I like nearly everyone that's been here before the imposing of the "rules", with the only real exception being the trolls that really don't get that they're trolls (a.O., I'm looking at you).
