Good Morning Death of Print!

Posted by Kiala Kazebee on Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 8:24 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHEW!

(Oh my dear God it's not funny and the world is going to heck in a handbasket and my morning oatmeal tastes like ashes and somebody hold me please.)

Anyway, watch this funny video while the paradigm shifts.

The mercury's site is like the one site whose ads I don't block. Only because they have local ads.

Also, from the Nation a few weeks ago - The Death and Life of Great American Newspapers: http://www.thenation.com/doc/20090406/nich…

Homey spoke at U of Portland in February, too.

I block the mercury ads because they're festooned with ads for strip clubs, lingerie shops and fetish depots. It's stupid, I know, but I can't take chances when uptight folks are peering over my shoulder. ++ obligatory "at least not in this economy" qualifier

Has everyone noticed how in the Spartacus lingerie ad - the one with the blond-haired woman wearing a bowler hat - that she has no belly button?
