The Builders and the Butchers Kill a Clown

Haunted carnival?
Human organs worn as outfits?
Dead clown?

Looks like someone has been reading my secret dream diary.

But instead of being another example of my troubling mental instability, these are all just elements to the creepy cover artwork for Salvation Is A Deep Dark Well, full-length album number two from the Builders and the Butchers. Out on New York's Gigantic Music, the record will hit the streets—and evil fairways choked with dead clowns—on June 30th. Until then, enjoy this new song...

This music would be great if this dude's voice didn't sound like ass. It's as if Squiggy formed an indie band.

Boooooooooooooring. Why do all PDX bands get so cliche like on their second albums? Oh Valencia! Oh Barcelona! Clowns and Asian Cranes! Ugh.

I LOVE LOVE LOVED the 1st B&B's album. It was a perfect mix of cliche (slight), old school instrumental, dark vocals. This sounds too bright and jingly - maybe it work as a concept given the circus connection.
