The Mercury's Forecast Fashion Show… this Sunday!

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Fri, Apr 24, 2009 at 4:44 PM

Calling all lovers of Portland fashion, style and steez! You are not going to want to miss the Mercury's annual Spring Fashion show THIS SUNDAY, April 26 at 8 pm (7 pm doors) at the Armory (128 NW 11th). Entitled "FORECAST," this year's show is wide-ranging salute to what's new in Portland style—from nationally recognized locals such as Adam Arnold, Holly Stalder, Elizabeth Dye and more, to buzzy newbies such as Gretchen Jones' MothLove, Smith and Bybee, and Gatsby lingerie. (Rrrowr.)

OH, BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. We'll also be featuring emerging designers destined to make a huge splash on the Portland scene, with statement jewelry from Muntedkowhai, innovative menswear by Adam Andreas, and a whole room of hot new accessories on which for you to drool.

There will be fancy (cheap) drinks, a FREE photo booth (provided by Christy Klep Photos), and sexy turntable spinning from the always amazing DJ Beyonda.

Regular attendees already know this is THE fashion event of the season, and could very easily sell out. So be smart and get your $10 tickets here, or take your chances with $12 tickets at the door.

For more info, check out this week's FORECAST fashion issue, and don't miss one of the most exciting fashion events of the year!
