Every week the Mercury's Flickr pool fills up with randomly awesome picture from around town.
Every week we pick a winner for the Photo Lottery from this pool.
This weeks winner is an actual wiener by Hannah Westberg.
This wiener speaks volumes about who we are as a people; our values, our politics, our food of choice, etc...
But I'm no writer (I'm the art director), so I challenge you wordsmiths.

Wacky Mcwiener can be found selling hot dogs on the mean streets of vancouver, washington.
LuckyMike is correct, but Vancouver's a suburb of Portland and has no identity of its own.
