Film Something Larry David Isn't Funny In

Check out the trailer for the new Woody Allen comedy (?) Whatever Works, in which the normally heeelarious star of Curb Your Enthusiasm Larry David is… well… somewhat less than heeelarious. Woody Allen has obviously fucked this one up in a number of ways, but I'd be interested to hear your opinion on how he fucked this one up in particular. (My vote? The really, really bad depiction of Southerners. I hate Southerners, I am one, I love it when people make fun of Southerners, but this? Amateurish.)
