Randy Leonard Twitters About His Sandwich

Posted by Sarah Mirk on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 2:37 PM

Randy Leonard: The best Twitterer on City Council. Sure, Mayor Adams has almost 200 more posts than Leonard but most of them are mini press release-style updates. Leonard, on the other hand, twitters off the cuff and so between posts about negotiating the Lents AAA stadium deal and referring to himself as "Bald Justice," Leonard loves to throw in snippets like this one:

Which, of course, leads one to looking at photos of Randy Leonard eating a peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwich. Which is, of course, completely gross.

Why the mayonnaise, Randy? WHY?! "Because it adds a nice lubricity," he writes,"aiding in the chewing and swallowing of the normally gummy peanut butter."

PB&M is good, but it's even better if you add a banana.

Dude, my grandfather used to make that sandwich for my brother and I when we were little kids...but it also had lettuce on it!

And yes, we loved it!...I think...or maybe we just loved him...
