I woke up with SUCH a feeling of glee this morning, knowing I got to post these pictures on the internet today. Look! It's Graham kissing Sarah!

AHAHHAHAHAAHAHA!!!
I'm not even going to attempt a recap of trivia last night (the pictures will tell the whole sodden story), but we did learn some things: Graham is pretty nice in person. Joneser is on the sauce again, which means she's blogging again at Hungover Portland, one of my favorite local blogs (it is weirdly comforting to read about someone else's hangovers when you yourself are hungover. I know, I did it this morning). Rom's dad was in REO Speedwagon. If you drop TriviaCat on the floor, his paw might come off. Also, various parties requested the presence of Nex, A Cat, and Erik Henriksen—maybe next time, gentlemen?
Thanks to everybody for coming out; thanks to Club 21 for the memories short-term memory loss; thanks to Matthew for the drinks; thanks to my trusty bicycle for always knowing the way home. That was fun. Congratulations go to team "This Side of the Table" (WORST NAME EVER)—Courtney, Steve, Ben, Matthew, Sarah, and Nick—for their victory. Photos after the jump.
Winners.

Damn it! The side of the table I was on WON? I knew I shouldn't have bounced as soon as I saw my competition.
I do remember being there when we learned triviacat=not as heavy as a real cat, though there may be a mummified cat inside.
I am filled with such a deep and profound sadness that
A. I was not there
and
2. NO ONE REQUESTED MY PRESENCE.
*tears up picture I drew of Trivia Cat and me watching a beautiful sunset together*
Damn that looked like fun. I'm truly sad I missed it :..( I had a weird evening at my event (evs). Next time I will show. Also Humpy looks terrible in that first pic "Cocaine is a hell of a drug..........."
It was morning when I started this goddamn post. Uploading those pictures took forever. Kiala, I missed you too.
Seventeen photos posted. I'm in ten of them. Does this make me an e-celebrity now?
It was good fun meeting everyone, I just hope this doesn't put a damper on my ability to be mean to all the staff at the Merc. You're no longer faceless automatons.
Confidential to Ben: I'm sorry I called you "fucking retarded" for not knowing the difference between the Avengers and the Justice League.
Confidential to Commentators: This comment does not give you permission to agree with my first assessment of the situation, and call Ben fucking retarded.
HUGS ALL AROUND!!
And, uh, sorry to fail you guys, but I'm not really hungover today. I give big thanks to having 2 servings of french fries. I'll make something up later, though.
Confidential to Steven: I'm sure if the situation was reversed I would have said something similar. I believe I did yell "I know this one jackasses!" before the question was even finished.
Confidential to Alison: I refuse to apologize for the team name. It was both factually accurate and a solid reminder that I should not be allowed to name anything.
I liked the name.
Kiala, post your poem. Better yet, post it in it's own thread.
Joneser, you did leave way too early.
Yeah, that was a lot of fun. And I got pretty drunk!
Matthew, I found my bike lights under my desk at work. If you were wondering. Thanks for offering me your set.
Alison, I think your camera has some problems finding the focus when it's so dark inside. But I kind of like that - it seems like a more accurate representation of the night.
Joneser - yeah, things kinda went nuts after you left.
@Alison: Tsk, tsk, tsk. Drunken bicycle riding. For shame. Maybe yopu should get a 2 person bike and have a designated pedaler. Seriously, that's as bad as drunk driving, except that you will probably only kill one person. Ypourself. I'm appalled.
ROM: Good. (I don't remember offering you my lights although I do carry a spare set. Hmmm, I'm with Alison, thank you Club 21 for the short term memory loss.)
ujfoyt: My best snow bike riding was when I was drunk, it slows down your reaction times and so you don't over correct.
Alison: I think that the street would probably be safer than the sidewalk, (it definitely is when you are sober,) but it depends on how good of a drunk bicyclist you are, and how fast you are going.
Everyone: I looked it up, it is called PUI, or peddling under the influence. And being on a tandem wouldn't change that, unless you didn't have any pedals in the back. Someone, (like a newspaper reporter or something :-P,) should look up how many PUIs have been issued in Portland, I don't think they are a very high priority crime and they probably don't give very many, (with exceptions for Reverend Phil.)
Camera: I think you are supposed to press the button half way so it will focus, and then all the way so it takes the picture. Next time we'll probably get it right. (And next time we won't have to borrow a memory card for it either.)
I think peddling should be spelled pedaling. I don't think they give out tickets for trying to sell something when you've been drinking. I know, nit-picking.
That was great. Good questions. Thanks everyone for you hostpitality, and for not making us win this time.
I have what may be a stupid question, I get the impression that Kiala lives in the Bay area. If this is true, could she not be at the trivia locale via a laptop? Surely some of these places must have Wi-Fi available. Or am I all wet, so to speak.
ujfoyt, it is considered poor form and "almost-cheating" to have laptops or iPhones out during trivia nights at bars.
We'll just have to wait till August to enjoy having Krazy-Bee back in the PDX.
