News The End is Nigh!

Mysterious and evil forces are coming to destroy us all!
From the fields of Springfield, Illinois rises a giant white demonic Obama head!
And from the crack in the sidewalk outside the Mercury office swarms a hell-sent mob of ants!
Okay, so the hell ants I have no explanation for. But apparently the Obama head was crafted for "Presidents Park" in South Dakota, which has on display a variety of other giant presidential heads. But carving Obama's face out of white stone is just racially... awkward. Would it be even more awkward to have an obsidian Obama sculpture sitting at the foot of the all-white granite Mt. Rushmore? What's a sculptor to do about our new president - play color blind and carve a ghostly Barack or just stick to bronze?
