After you've read the news today you might be interested in the Oregonian's non-chickenshit endorsement in the Senate District 22 race. We don't agree with it, and reject the characterization of Jo Ann Bowman as an "uncompromizing, polarizing force." But at least the O weighed in. I'll be Tweeting from today's selection hearing at Multnomah County on the hashtag #hallmonitor, and will have a blog update here at 11, wifi-permitting, if you're interested in following the decisions of the county commissioners. INN'S OUT Mayor Adams backs down on the convention center hotel. It's dead, for the time being.
SPARE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER The mayor seeks feedback on his new "sidewalk management" plan. Feedback is largely positive, although there's skepticism it's just another plan to target homeless people, in disguise.
