News Racist Flyers Surface in North Portland

Among the concert flyers and yard sale signs on North Portland light poles, a disturbing advertisement recently appeared: posters for Northwest Front, a group "seeking a white homeland" in the Pacific Northwest.
The only photo I have of the posters is from local artist Sam Gould, who snapped a picture of one after making his own alterations.

Though Gould says the poster directing Portlanders to the Northwest Front website does not use "overtly racist" language, the veiled intent of the sign is partly what prompted Gould to deface it. "Even if it's childish to write on them, I was pissed off. It's my neighborhood. I didn't want them to think they should spread propaganda here," says Gould, who spotted signs all over the Boise neighborhood while walking with his small son two weeks ago. "I felt like tearing them down, but they could just put them back up again. That wouldn't have revealed what was happening in the neighborhood."
The North Portland flyers are the latest in a series of recent racist flyerings. Last spring hate group the National Alliance posted stickers all over Southeast. Over the summer, a one-man white supremacist sticker campaign in Northwest Portland led to a dust-up between that man and anonymous anti-racist group Rose City Antifa.

I think giving the scumbags attention is a good idea. It's always tricky deciding whether to write about racist actions because I do not want to bring positive publicity to hate groups, but it is very important to keep tabs on what these groups are doing in Portland. It would be dangerous to ignore them.

Interesting....if this was a flyer leading to a pro-jewish or other ethnic group no one would be offended. Personally, if this was in my neighborhood I would be offended by the "bullshit" written by the so-called artist. Especially if we are worried about what are children are reading and/or being exposed to is a concern. If he (the “artist” was that offended he could have simply removed the posting. I think people in this city have too much time on their hands.....being as this area is known for having one of the highest unemployment rates I can't say that I am surprised. We seem to forget that in this country people are still entitled to their opinions regardless if the opinions of others are shared or agreed upon. Just because they are not your values does not mean you can stop others from speaking their minds. If you are not interested in the sign that's ok, but you do not need to force your opinions on others by adding your rude remarks. Furthermore, the posting could have been worse with a symbol if that is what this group was send an overall racist message....the fact remains that like it or not there will always be "racists" in what you like to call YOUR neighborhood and just as it is your right to post your signs it is their right to post flyers to their website.

Ok, let me see if I have this right: When a black family moves into an all White area, there is no such thing as "MY neighborhood" on the part of the resident Whites. At the same time, when a so called 'hate group' puts a flier up in an area where one bitter man opposes it, all of the sudden it's "his neighborhood." Nice........

Why aren't the criminals locked up? And who trusts our politicians, our media, or leadership of the companies we work for? Why are our jobs being outsourced to foreign countries? Why are our politicians such complete and utter fools and traitors who sell us out at the drop of a hat?
Maybe you've been thinking that there has to be a better way. Maybe you, like us, want to be part of the answer to society's problems. You can be!

A few years ago, I was a nice "tolerant" person, like "D." "s.mirk," and Sam Gould. Then I grew tired of hearing other "tolerant" people hurl insults at those who said anything pro-White, and decided to look for myself and see who these alleged "Witch burners," "cross burners," and "Nazis" were. I was shocked to find they weren't the villains I'd been told they were. Now when I see or hear people screaming "racist," I just shake my head and think they probably don't engage in a great deal of critical thinking before embarking on their smear campaigns.

If Sarah has a problem with the view of the NF she should challenge them to a debate on the merits of both their views. I am sure Portland has a public access channel or maybe one of the local TV or radio stations would like to step up to the plate and take it on. Neither is likely to happen. People like the so called artist and Sarah are great at spouting their own form of racism but will never actually debate the other side in an open forum. They are all too aware they would look like fools since their views are not based on any factual opinion but simple minded emotion.

Gould is a racist Jew. Clearly he hates white people because he would rather shut them up than let them have a voice. Jews like Gould don't seem to like us white people actually expressing our GOD given rights of FREE SPEECH. We're not supposed to have our own culture or our own heritage. It's ok for blacks to march down the street shouting Black Pride and Kill Whitey. But when any white says, White Pride, support your race. I for one do not see the northwest front as a hate group .. i ask you all.. what is hateful about being proud of your heritage wanting to secure the future for your race and children ??
If you do find that as hateful ask you then. why is it not hateful or racist to have national holidays and festivals celebrating the pride and heritage for every race of people other than the white race?? please think very hard before answering these questions..
