Portland The Foster Indy Mart Opens Tomorrow

Tomorrow marks the grand opening of another shopping option that addresses These Tough Times, the Foster Indy Mart at 7916 SE Foster Rd. The "community based shopping" experience is meant to connect shoppers with great value on goods and services while generating income for its un- or under-employed vendors. Looks worth checking out:

I hope that this Market Place grows. I've been twice in the past two days. I had my curtains altered today and they were finished in less than an hour and they are PERFECT! I also bought some jewelry and some rad old tapes for the boombox. If you are in the area you should go check it out. If you are a local vendor, they are offering a great price on space! I will be back for holiday gift shopping.

I just discovered Indy Mart and got really excited until I found out it closed down recently. I stumbled upon a gem and it was instantly stolen, I'm very disappointed! Are there any similar alternatives anybody knows about (excluding Saturday Market)?
