Is it weird to want to know how many awards went to portland and how many went to seattle?

CYCLUST was honestly one of the most darling things I've ever seen. The story is adorable, the production phenomenal, and the sex was super sexy because it came across as sincere, with lots of kisses and longing looks. I'm glad it at least won second prize, but it should have won first. I hope the filmmakers realize what a great short they made and screen it again some time in our fair city, because it is too good to shelve.

And good call on BEEYOND GAY, voters. Funniest short, hands down.

Congrats to all the winners! you can count on me making a short for next year!

I don't even remember Beyond Gay, can someone refresh my memory?

I agree with all of the "Sexiest" winners. I voted for Trolley Tryst, but Cyclust was adorable and The Modern Housewife had the best production values.

I think everything was Seattle except Cyclust.

Beyond Gay was the one where a gay man and a lesbian decided they should try having sex. I voted for it purely based on the incredibly indifferent hand job the woman gave the man, where you just saw her hand kind of twitching under the blanket every few seconds. Hilarious. A couple of shorts weren't included in the Friday Portland screenings, though, for logistical reasons—I believe that was one of them.

@Andy: Beyond Gay was the one that came off as a risque SNL skit. It had the white dyke and the black fag trying to get each other off unsuccseffully. Funniest movie was easily the one renamed, "Anal Hook". When she shot that cucumber out of her twat! FUCKING FUNNY!

Sexiest was either Incubus or the one with the skinny white boy getting pegged by the Amazonian black woman. But then... I just have a thing for skinny white guys getting pegged by Amazonian women.

Weird! I still don't remember it at all. I also don't remember Incubus, which came right after it according to the program. Did I repress this memory? Was I roofied? I went to the Friday show and remember everything except those two.

Andy Mesa, Incubus was the one with the VR helmet. it's not super-obviously titled... i had a hard time remembering as well.

I don't remember Beyond Gay screening, however.

Beyond Gay did not show at the 21& over show in Portland on October 23rd.
Bummer! (No pun intended but I'll take it.)

My girlfriend loved Cyclust while I thought it was a bit pretentious. My faves for sexiest were The Modern Housewife and the one about gay sexual predators. Can't believe that E.T. Dark Horizons did not place for funniest!
