every last one of these five comments comes from a self-indulgent, unread and illiterate person who is trying to put too much into a very short quote-
first of all, the girl was blah blah blah, and don't think for a moment she didn't want it from a famous producer - because why? because her parents worshipped anything hollywood, and she has since said she doesn't care to see Polanski punished - it's just a bunch of uptight waspish wannabes who think they need a cause and they jump on the most prurient thing that is cast before them -

let us examine the whole of that section of the interview and either get off our high horses, and just admit we're really uninformed -

iolo, one can respect somebody's past works (though, with full disclosure in mind, I have never agreed with Gore), but here's the point, in his old age, he just called somebody who was 13 at the time a "hooker." He's gone, his work remains, but he's gone.

so, we have a crowd who believe in trial by gossip and innuendo; and it makes them feel good because it makes their own failings seem - well, less like failure -

Iolo. If I was a person with a blatant disregard for facts, I would say you are making a pretty good point. However... "Trial by gossip" isn't exactly what Roman Polanski got. He got : a judge, a grand jury, a plea bargain... He has gotten more than he deserves with this shit, and more than enough chances to prove his innocence.
And just so you know, for future reference.. Rape victims often blame themselves. So, how bout you "check it out"? In an effort to regain control of their lives, rape victims will blame themselves. Why? Well... This way... they put the cards back in their hands. As in.. "I kinda helped create this situation, so I know how to keep it from happening again." Why? Because HUMANS NEED TO FEEL LIKE THEY ARE IN CONTROL OF THEIR LIVES. And yes, we desire to be in control of our lives so bad, that a woman will blame herself for being raped when she was THIRTEEN YEARS OLD.
See... the alternative, the fact there is nothing she could have done then, is too much for her to handle. Why, you ask? Because, if there was nothing she could change at 13, then there's nothing she could do today to prevent herself from being raped tomorrow. Thus, if you felt like you were completely out of control in regards to getting raped tomorrow (which you are, btw), you would quickly lose the will to live.
