Good Morning, News!

Posted by Sean Breslin on Thu, Oct 29, 2009 at 7:13 AM

The times, they are a'changin'!!! The U.S. economy actually grew last quarter!

Obama takes a trip to Dover Air Force Base to salute troops killed in Afghanistan as their remains return home. Classy.

House health-care bill includes public option! Don't screw this up, America, that means health-care for interns!

Child star Abigail Breslin (cool name, right?) will play Helen Keller in the latest Broadway incarnation of "The Miracle Worker." Wait, that's not typical Hollywood news! Oh, here we go...

Still-on-probation Lindsay Lohan is going to India to shoot a documentary on child trafficking! Who better to shed light on exploited children?

And there's more! Octomom is pregnant aga...oh, wait, it's a Halloween costume. Damn.

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.), who made earlier headlines for his bad-ass speech on the House floor, is now blubbering. We like our politicians to have a range of emotions, right?

Ending again this week with a World Series update, the Philadelphia Phillies took Game One Wednesday night, thanks to the expert pitching of Cliff Lee.

The growth in the economy was solely due to increased government spending. Don't give up your job waiting tables just yet.
