The WEIRDEST Health Reform Cartoons, Ever

Posted by Matt Davis on Fri, Oct 30, 2009 at 4:17 PM

I just opened an envelope from Japan, and found this inside.

Accompanying the note were the weirdest health reform cartoons you will ever see. Seriously. After the jump.

No, no, wait...

I'm going to auction these off. They're originals. Do I hear $300?

Do people in the military get free international postage or something? These are amazing! I hope you run them in the paper. Or as the cover.

Yes. Holy Shit. These need to be the next cover. Specifically the two heads. Powerful stuff.

Protip: Political cartoons are 260% more political when drawn on stationary stolen from a South Korean motel.

No.

Moreover, I'm invocing the PMerc for the bit of my soul that those cartoons just stole.

On the upside: They're far and away better (and at least one is hotter) than anything Glenn McCoy's ever done.

No.

Moreover, I'm invoicing the PMerc for the piece of my very soul these cartoons stole from me. Even though one of them is quite hot.

On the upside, though, they are far and away better than any editorial cartoon Glenn McCoy's ever done.

I like that the note is written on paper from a Korean hotel.

Is it true that adding topical captions and word-bubbles to your softcore art makes them political cartoons? If so, I have some cheerleading foot-fetish models with interesting views on the sit/lie ordinance I would like you all to meet.

And these appeared where? I agree with the sentiment, but these are fucking stupid. Or are they more interesting because they're drawn by some guy who happens to be ex-military/ESL teacher/simply married to a Japanese woman and not some pathetic, doodling Portland hipster? Lame.

These sort of things would sell for $300 each at Last Thursday. And some idiot will buy it.
