Bless Our Still-Standing Train Station.

Infrastructurist has a list up of cities that stupidly demolished their beautiful train stations. Looking through the images of turn-of-the-century train stations leveled to make way for parking lots, vacant lots and freeways across the country makes me take a moment to whisper a silent prayer that Portland's own historic Union Station won't ever become condo fodder.
