Local Businesses Donating Proceeds to Haiti Relief

Posted by Alison Hallett on Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 3:37 PM

On their website, Milagros Boutique has compiled a list of more than ten local businesses who have so far committed to donate a percentage of their sales to relief efforts in Haiti. Most of the businesses—including Black Wagon, Green Bean Books, Loyla Sauna, and Alma Chocolate—are donating 10% of sales through the weekend. Follow Milagros on Twitter to keep up with any more additions.

Thanks for posting this. The list of businesses continues to grow. In addition to the businesses signing on to support Mercy Corps, there is an event in the Pearl this weekend to raise funds for the Red Cross.

Intel is donating $250,000, and matching employee donations on top of that.
