Posted by Matt Davis on Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 12:38 PM

Did you miss me on KPOJ 620AM this morning at 8, talking about the news section as I do each and every week? Well, to quote Marlene Dietrich in Witness for the Prosecution, "damn you. Daaaaamn youuuu." Actually, never mind. You can listen to a podcast of the show by clicking here. On the other hand you could just read the goddamn news:

STOP THE CHICKEN. Hey, Mercury reader, this election really is up to you! New research by the "Vote Yes" campaign shows that voters aged 18-39 are most likely to support the new tax measures to pay for basic services in the state. At the same time, sadly, they are also the least likely to show up. SO PUT DOWN THE BONG FOR FIVE MINUTES AND VOTE.

Hey Matt, I know you're confused by this whole voting thing we do in America. But here in Oregon, no one really goes anywhere to vote. They just send a ballot to your house. Get with the times.
