Gross.

Did anyone else do a double take at Sunday's Oregonian anti-tax wrap-around? It took me two looks to realize it was an ad... but even then, the ad is mostly just quotes from the O's "no" endorsement on this January's tax measures.

In other news, if you have the day off from work for MLK Day, pro-measure group Defend Oregon needs volunteers for a massive state-wide canvas.

And on their website yesterday (maybe today too, I dunno) they had a HUGE "no on 66 & 67" pop-up banner ad that felt like getting slapped in the face by a hefty and moist trout.

Luckily it's just the Oregonian, so it's not like anyone will take it seriously, if they see it at all.

In regards to Measures 66+67, I often ask myself "What would Margie Boule do?"

"Urges" is an interesting language choice. I guess the idea of "non-partisan" newspapers really is dead.

It's a political ad the week before an election. You guys must be pretty unsophisticated political consumers.

A stste wide "canvas" would be pretty big. I suppose you meant canvass. I know, nit-picky.
