Songs for Haiti Tickets Going Fast!

Posted by Alison Hallett on Tue, Jan 19, 2010 at 2:46 PM

Or I should say, "very briskly," according to my source. So get on it, if you care about Haiti and/or Holcomb Waller and/or the Portland Cello Project. More info here, or head to the Aladdin's website to buy tickets online.

And, for you haterz on Twitter who've been grumbling about Ticketmaster charges (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE), benefit organizer Stephen Marc Beaudoin (okay, he was my source) has this to say:

There's been some murmurs of disapproval about Ticketmaster's involvement. I want to set the record straight: Ticketmaster is donating 100% of their ticketing service fees for "Songs for Haiti" back to Mercy Corps. This is an unprecedented move for Ticketmaster, and important for people to know about!

So now you know.
