The Crying Wife

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Mon, Feb 1, 2010 at 3:07 PM

Over at cryingwife.com, a somewhat cruel but festive husband videotapes his wife uncontrollably sobbing her eyes out after watching sad movies. AND THE RESULT IS HILARIOUS! Check out this clip of The Crying Wife boo-hooing at the end of Steven Spielberg's A.I. (Stupid robot movie… it didn't make me cry… much. Sniff.)

After the jump, The Crying Wife cries after Back to the Future: Part III. (I'M NOT JOKING.)

They're just movies, for Christs' sake.

If that woman watched a genuinely sad movie she'd probably commit suicide. She seriously needs some psychiatric assistance.

Who can be married to someone like that? That's got to be exhausting for the husband.

She probably just needs her Daily Cry. And lots of therapy.

I haven't watched all the videos - but I think this is either staged, or she's just really not that smart. "Let's watch this movie, baby. Wait, lemme get my video camera. And... now it's the getting to the end of the movie, and I'm filming you." And afterward she says, "Did you know this was going to be a sad movie?" "Naw, baby." Doesn't she realize the moment he busts out his camera and trains it on her that this is a sad movie and sad things are about to happen? And doesn't she also know that he's a big fat liar?

Step 1: Make horrible marriage choice.

Step 3: Profit.

The weird thing is that she laughed at the end of Au Revoir les infants.
