Last night the Portland Trail Blazers lost Marcus Camby and Jerryd Bayless to ankle injuries and then nearly blew a 21-point lead to the worst team in the league—and possibly in NBA history—the New Jersey Nets.

Yay?

The good news is that Portland won (102-93), Camby and Bayless are both day-to-day (Camby is definitely out tonight, Bayless will be fine), and the Blazers rebounded from a particularly difficult homestretch where they dropped four of five games. Last night Brandon Roy no longer appeared to be hampered by his hamstring injury, scoring 28, and starting forward—it's about damn time—Nicolas Batum contributed a huge defensive stop to keep the bottom dwelling Nets at bay. Tonight the Blazers travel to Toronto, where a victory is actually worth two wins, thanks to their generous exchange rate.
