Sports Say Hello to Travis Diener

The Blazers have just filled the empty void in their bench by signing former Indiana Pacers guard Travis Diener to their final roster spot. Since Portland always needs a scrappy white point-guard with little skills outside of Europe or the D-League (Richie Frahm, Dan Dickeau), Diener will feel right at home nervously clutching Brandon Roy's towel in the closing seconds of a game. Plus, he's from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, so he and fellow Midwestern Joel Pryzbilla can now eat cheese curds and drink Miller together.
