Is Bestiality Fashionable Yet?

Posted by Dave Bow on Tue, Mar 9, 2010 at 5:09 PM

I guess this is old news in internetland but it's new to my virgin eyes. Jezebel posted a couple of months ago about Canadian boutique SSENSE's creepy photo series, "Puppy Love."

NSFW?
  • NSFW?

There's an awesome diatribe from one of SSENSE's commenters about "simple and corrupt minded people" not understanding the "story" of these shots, but my favorite quote is definitely this from Jezebel's follow-up post:

[The photographers] both deny that the dog was being exploited. "Instead of spending a boring day at home alone, he had a day in the studio with the poodle. He played all the day with my dog and ate peanut butter all the day," Pierre says. By the way, the photographers say the dog's name is Jackson — "because he loves children."

GET IT?

Its peanut butter puppy time!
  • It's peanut butter puppy time!

What do you guys think? Is this morally despicable or actually kind of hot? Or is it just exploitative flailing in a desperate attempt to be outre? See the whole series here (NSFW).

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS PHOTO SERIES?

H/t to Kara for the link. If you have a Blogtown tip use the link at the top of the page to send it to us!
