Coco (Not) Coming to Portland

Conan O'Brien's "The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour" just announced the dates for his "half-assed comedy & music tour." Problem is, no Portland show. Coco's tour kicks off in Eugene on April 12th, and visits such exotic locales as Enoch, AB and Uncasville, CT, but sadly there is not a Portland date. Does that mean we live in a Leno town?

In other depressing news, Rob Schneider is not skipping Portland. He'll be at the Aladdin Theater in May. Plenty of tickets still available.

I read the headline and was seriously dissapointed because I thought you were talking about Ice T's wife, Coco.

I guess that leaves open the chance I'll see her here someday.

I'm wondering what happened that prevented our local promoters from procuring this to come to Portland? I can't believe that Coco's tour planners totally ignored Portland and selected not only to go to Eugene, but to also begin the tour there. Now Eugene gets to benefit from major press coverage that Portland at least had an opportunity to get.

Yeah, I was thinking about Ice-T's wife too, but this is really depressing. Eugene? Really. Eugene? Oh, end it all...*smh*
