Saturday Morning Cartoon: The Mighty Hercules

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Sat, Mar 27, 2010 at 9:35 AM

Welcome again to Saturday Morning Cartoon, where today we get super weird with The Mighty Hercules. In this episode the beautiful Helena is turned ass-ugly by Wilhemine the witch, and it's up to Hercules and his annoying centaur pal Newton (whose pathological speech defect forces him to say everything twice... EVERYTHING TWICE) to save the day. Because we certainly can't have ugly people running around Olympus, right? And what's up with Hercules' ring? I don't really recall that from my study of the ancient greek gods. OH, WELL. I'm gonna roll with it. Enjoy The Mighty Hercules in 1963's aptly named "Helena Ugly."

And since the opening theme is so great, check this out, too. "Softness in his eyes/ iron in his thighs"? Rrrowrrr!
