Comedy Better Know A Bridgetown Comic: Pt. 4 of 125

Meet Morgan Murphy
I've had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Murphy a number of times, first at Bridgetown, and more recently in New York at the venerable Comedy Cellar. Every time she's been terrific. Murphy is quite tall, and really enjoys bringing the weird, uncomfortable, fear of touching on an awkward Facebook blind date vibe. It might sound a bit off-putting, but as long as you're willing to surrender yourself and go there, it's fucking hilarious.
Murphy grew up here in Portland, but hit the road quick, heading to LA at 17. She's performed on the usual spat of Comedy Central shows, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, as well as writing for both. And last Friday on Fallon, Murphy killed:
