Horrors Splice of Horror

We finally learn the origin of the baby from Eraserhead of which David Lynch was very secretive!
It feels a bit like a Species/Alien hybrid, but I have some hopes for the quality of Splice from director Vincenzo Natali (Cube). What do you all think?
