Comic Books / Games Kate Beaton Does Penny Arcade; Stumptown Announces Paul Pope.

ALSO: In addition to showing up on Penny Arcade, the fantastic Kate Beaton will also be at this year's Stumptown Comics Fest. (Keep your eye on the Mercury for our blow-out Stumptown issue, coming soon!) In other Stumptown news, the fest just announced that the amazing Paul Pope (Heavy Liquid, 100%, Batman: Year 100, that kickass Star Trek comic that ran in Wired) will be a "special surprise guest" at the show as well, which... you know... is a big goddamn deal. This year's Stumptown is starting to look pretty great.
