Every dollar counts when you're making an independent film—so if you're a local filmmaker and you want to see your film play at the Clinton St. Theater, you're gonna want to keep reading.

The Portland Underground Film Festival (better known as PUFF—more info is here, and our write-up of last year's fest is here) is going down in June this year. Seth Sonstein, the guy behind PUFF and the owner of the Clinton St., is hoping to snag a some more local submissions for the fest, so he's made a deal for Blogtown readers: When you submit your film to PUFF, mention that you heard about PUFF on Blogtown and he'll waive the $10 submission fee.

Deadline for submissions is Friday, April 30. Get crackin'.
