News Nice On Desk Duty After Road Rage Incident

"Dan's disappointed," says Police Commissioner Saltzman's chief of staff, Brendan Finn. "When Sergeant Nice returns from family leave he'll be placed in an administrative position until the investigation is completed."

NICE: ROAD RAGE INCIDENT SURFACED LAST WEEK

What about Portland Police Association President Scott Westerman, who was involved in another road rage incident, which surfaced over the weekend?

"He doesn't think that this behavior is acceptable of those representing the police bureau, either on or off duty," says Finn—referring both to Nice, and Westerman.

"An investigation is going to be conducted into the actions of Sergeant Westerman, but since he is the union president, he's currently not on the street, so no action has been taken in that regard."
