I'm not opposed to having a good time, particularly if you have a demanding job which requires a lot of fist shaking and finger pointing and such. But when the members of Congress cut loose and join together to harmonize the line "I've got friends in low places," things have just become too ironic and uncomfortable for my taste.

At last night's GRAMMYs on The Hill event in Washington D.C., a few U.S. lawmakers were called upon to grab their favorite instruments and play a song for the attendees, thus make a chilling (though obvious) confession to an audience composed of journalists and Garth Brooks.

Happy tax day, tax payers. That's your Congress.
