Politics / SEX GOP Lawmaker Caught Looking At Porn During Abortion Debate

More details—and flimsy denials—at Sunshine State News. Think Progress has the details on the bill being debated while GOP state senator Mike Bennet was looking at naked ladies and wet dogs: "an anti-choice abortion measure that requires women seeking an abortion to first pay for an ultrasound out of pocket and “in most cases, view live images of the fetus.” Bennet actually voted against the bill, saying that abortion was "a tough choice," and he accused his fellow Republicans in the legislature of wanting to make women seeking abortions "feel more miserable" than they might already.

The bill was ultimately approved by the Florida State Senate, sadly, and it looks likely to be approved by the Florida House of Representatives.
