Film Win Tickets to The Mystery of Chess Boxing! Again!

Yes, the Grindhouse Film Fest did show The Mystery of Chess Boxing a few weeks ago. And yes, we did give tickets away to that screening. But now there's gonna be one last showing of the film—it'll be tomorrow, May 11, at 9:30 pm at the Hollywood Theatre (4122 NE Sandy). Why the second showing? It's thanks to what Grindhouse Film Fest organizer Dan Halsted calls "the extreme popularity" of Chess Boxing. "This is the only known 35mm print of this film, and the last screening brought the house down," Halsted says in his press release. "Here's one more chance to see it before it's filed into the vault."

And yes, we're totally giving away two tickets to this show, too.

So if you missed the last showing of Chess Boxing, here's your chance to go again, and go for free. All you need to do is email me before noon tomorrow (Tuesday, May 11). Make sure "Ghostface Killer" is the subject line of your email, and don't bother sending any emails later than 12 pm PST. I'll pick an email at random at around noon, and then I'll email the winner back with details on how to get their tickets. (NOTE: The winner will need to be able to swing by the Mercury offices in NE Portland sometime between noon and 5:30 pm tomorrow.)
