The Portland Timbers are off to the East Coast for some much needed road trip bonding time and a special team sponsored scavenger hunt that involves finding their offense. They take on Crystal Palace Baltimore, a team that is evidentially some kind of feeder for Crystal Palace FC in England. The Timbers fell to the Baltimore version in Portland two weeks ago with a 1-0 loss and have been adrift ever since.

For those of you not ready to fly cross country, the game is on 95.5 The Game on the radio and streaming via the interwebs via Portland Timbers' website. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.

Can't wait till then to get your soccer fix on? Today is also the biggest soccer event outside of the World Cup: the 2010 Champions League Final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. It is on network TV for the first time ever here in the 'ole U.S. of A., courtesy of Fox (in HD! WHEE!) at 11:30 a.m. The Wall Street Journal—which knows a thing or two about money—is calling it, "the richest club match in football history," with each team looking to split close to $400 million dollars.
