TriMet announced today that its Board of Directors has approved fare increases and service cuts to take effect September 1. These measures are intended to address the agency's $27 million budget shortfall this year.
Monthly passes will also see a $2 increase.
Two lines, 27-Market/Main and 157-Happy Valley, are being discontinued. Frequency of MAX lines will be reduced by 2-3 minutes on evenings and weekends.
For a full list of service cuts, see TriMet's proposal.
