Two banners hanging from the building direct potential bidders to AuctionRP.com, the federal government's clearinghouse for unwanted government real estate. Visit the site and you can see who's bidding on the property, as well as a little description:

This beautiful, historic 1901 building at 220 NW 8th Ave., Portland, Oregon, is located on .88 acres and consists of approximately 78,838 +/- gross square feet.

Suggested opening bid: $2.5 million.

Update 3:35 pm: We have some commenters suggesting possible uses, as well as a Blogtown collection pool to buy the building. What would YOU do with the space?
