Dude, where's your band? Clearing not wanting to share free clothes with anyone else, "The Shins" (or just James Mercer in a Levi's western shirt) respected the brand and recorded a cover of Squeeze's "Goodbye Girl" for this Levi's Pioneer session. Even if it involves a corporate jeans company, I'm of the opinion that anytime Squeeze gets attention, it's a good thing. The session also features a video, so you can watch Mercer in the studio and discuss the influence of Squeeze.

LISTEN:

The Shins - "Goodbye Girl"

End Hits: Pulling mussels in my shins.
