Before heading to Violetta for my delicious burger, I blew most my money at the newest Portland Farmers Market location right in the middle of the city's living room.

At the Pioneer Square market I snagged some gorgeous ripe “Valentine” sheep's cheese (it's like an aggressive brie) from Ancient Heritage Dairy, a demi-baguette from Pearl Bakery, a delicious tomato from Gathering Together Farm, Salami Nola from Olympic Provisions, and restocked myself with habenero vinegar from Blossom Vinegars. In other words, I'm about to make one of the better sandwiches I've eaten since... The Cheese Bar, actually.

But I brought back something for you, too, Blogtownies—a video journey through the newest market, to the dulcet tones of Port O'Brian. It's my gift to you on the first day of summer. Enjoy!
