The Rain is Coming Back

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Wed, Jun 23, 2010 at 4:45 PM

I just used the AC in my car for the first time in 2010, and according to weather.com it's not going to rain on, and thus ruin, any more June days (fingers crossed). And yet! You should know that beginning at 10 am tomorrow morning, there will be a stampede to the Nau warehouse sale, where they'll be letting go of merch for up to 80% off. Whether or not you admit to caring about fashion, the company makes some good-quality gear that is super useful for people who do a lot of biking in the cold and wet, among other outdoorsy activities. (And yeah, I also think a lot of it is really cute.) Obviously the earlier you show up the better your chances of grabbing the best stuff. If I were a guy I'd be looking to scoop up basic merino t-shirts (breathable, good for managing sweat, not to mention B.O.) to layer in the fall (long sleeves too):

As for women's gear, I think their biggest strength is flattering, functional jackets:

Hit the break for all the deets, and MOD for unapologetic caring about fashion.

I stopped by during lunch in search of a biking shirt....the nipple-enhancing t-shirt pictured, at "up to 80% off!", was $40. And made in China, though I couldn't detect any obvious flakes of lead paint.
