United Federation of Planets Here's Some Star Trek: First Contact.

Last night, due to a series of events I'd really rather not go into, I ended up watching the entirety of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Twilight Night. Obviously, today's shame hangover has not been easy to deal with.

So: Just in case you don't have plans tonight, and just in case you don't want to run the risk of sitting through something like, say, Jimmy Kimmel pretending to be interested in Twilight while middle-aged women screech at Taylor Lautner for what felt like 16 straight hours, here's a back-up plan: Star Trek: First Contact, which is either the second- or third-best Star Trek movie, depending on whether we're factoring in last summer's reboot. It's also the only Star Trek film to feature a Steppenwolf song!

Great. I spent $5 on a DVD at Fred Meyer's four years ago for nothing.
