This morning Variety released the 2010 Emmy nominations list. I'm of the belief that we are currently in a golden age of television and, seeing how strong this list is, I felt a little justified in that. Not a lot of surprises in 30 Rock, Glee, Modern Family and Lost making out like bandits but I'm ecstatic that Friday Night Lights is getting some long-deserved attention.
A little disappointed (but not surprised) that Parks and Recreation, which had a banner season, is overlooked besides a Best Actress for Amy Poehler while The Office makes out well despite being a little hot and cold lately. Same reaction to Party Down being left off the list and Saturday Night Live and Two and a Half Men being left on but I guess I'm just arguing personal preference over longevity and success. What are your gripes and grievances, Blogtown? What deserved a nomination that didn't get one and what should have been left off?
