Today at noon the Mercury Music Hour goes live on 94/7too's all-local 910 AM station (plus online on 947.fm). Come listen to us harness the majestic power of the mighty AM airwaves, or at least switch over between Lars Larson segments on how our socialist vegan president wants us all to become Muslims—just like him! If you miss it, the same show will also air at noon on Wednesday and Friday.

A few bands featured in our debut episode include the Wipers, Sallie Ford, the latest single from the Thermals, and even some Crackerbash for those over the age of 30. Or, maybe that should be 40. The playlist from this week's show is after the jump. If our ratings are high enough, they promised us our own traffic helicopter.

1. Mean Jeans — “Steve Don't Party No More”
2. Blue Giant - “When Will The Sun Shine?”
3. AgesandAges — “No Nostalgia”
4. Crackerbash — “Orion”
5. Menomena — “Five Little Rooms”
6. Cars & Trains — “Asleep On A Train”
7. Kelli Schaefer - "Ghost of the Beast”
8. Bark Hide and Horn — “Treasure Of The Everglades “
9. And And And — “2nd Proposition”
10. Lovers — “How The Story Ends”
11. Blitzen Trapper — “Dragon's Song”
12. Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside — “Vocal Chords”
13. The Thermals - “I Don't Believe You”
14. 31Knots — “Compass Commands”
15. Pure Country Gold — “The Boss”
16. The Wipers — “Doom Town”

Oh wait, you're not actually on 94.7fm on the radio. My iPod doesn't have an AM tuner. Can't you just put up torrents to a mixtape or something. What's with this terrestial boring stuff?

Five Little Rooms will absolutely fit the bill for my demand last week that something from Friend & Foe be played in the first hour. Way to appease without giving in.
