I hope their moms aren't reading this, but it's no secret that the boys of Pure Country Gold like to drink. A lot. And like any proud barfly, they are well aware that not all bars have well-stocked jukeboxes. So when it came time for the raucous duo to release a new vinyl-only LP, the sharp Tough Tuesday (courtesy of San Diego label Cave Punk Records), they made sure they had a few CD copies to distribute to neighborhood jukeboxes. The album goes well with any cold can of domestic beer and can be heard in the following local watering holes: B-Side, Florida Room, Billy Ray's Neighborhood Dive, The Standard, Slabtown, and Red Flag.

Clearly, Pure Country Gold is the best thing to happen to the jukebox since the Fonz. Tough Tuesday is available digitally now, with a LP release date set for later this Summer. Their release party is scheduled for August 28 at Club 21.
