Here's the trailer for Woody Allen's latest, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, which looks to be a return to Allen setting his movies outside of Manhattan, a healthy development in his somewhat stagnant string of films. Anthony Hopkins, Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Antonio Banderas, and the girl from Slumdog Millionaire all make appearances, in a trailer that could be interchangeable with virtually any of Allen's movies over the past 20 years. Allen's recent track record is as erratic as ever, with hit (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) alongside miss (Whatever Works, yuck), so this could go either way. I'd say this looks pretty fucking terrible, though. Remember when his movies used to be funny?
