Washington's notorious Bandit had been evading police for months when he was finally caught on July 11 after the boat got stuck in the sand during a chase.

The owner, William Sport, no longer wants the boat, which needs an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 for repairs. During the chase with Harris-Moore, police shot the boat's engines and also put bullet holes in the fiberglass structure, windshield and aluminum tower, said Sport.

Because of the damages, he's advertising the boat on eBay as "a collector's item and could be sold to, or used in the movie that is surely coming."

Bidding for the boat starts at $80,000 with a "buy it now" price of $110,000. Bidding ends tonight at 8:42 p.m. So far there are no takers.

The capture of Harris-Moore ended a months-long cross-country spree of car, boat and airplane thefts. On July 13 he was deported from the Bahamas and is being held in a federal jail in Florida. Sport said that he would sue 19-year-old Harris-Moore if he profited from a future movie deal.
